Students from Cotton Spinners Association Secondary School, a participating school of the “IT Innovation Lab in Secondary Schools” programme, participated in the International Youth Tech Olympic 2021 – Drone Coding Competition Event held in July 2021 and were named School Champion and Team Champion as well as won the Merit award.

About the Competitions

The International Youth Tech Olympic 2021, organised by Techbob Academy, Rotary Club of Peninsula East, Rotary Club of Abacus Hong Kong and World Education Robot Contest, aims to offer a platform for primary and secondary school students to apply tech learning and innovation ideas, and provide exchange opportunities with overseas peers while promoting tech innovation in Hong Kong. The Drone Coding Competition Event has team and school awards. School awards are based on the total performance points of the teams of each participating school – champion 10 points, 1st runner-up 8 points, 2nd runner-up 6 points, merit 4 points, competition completion 1 point.
