Case A6: 3D Drawing and AI Workshop

Complexity
  • Medium
Target Level
  • P5 – P6

Objective:
To discover practical theories, applications and programming opportunities to further students’ understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), coding and Big Data. Finally understand the core concepts and how to apply AI technology in actual design and work.

Description:
The school will organise a workshop to enhance students’ skills in 3D printing and application of AI on 3D printing, and how AI will improve 3D objects and experience. The course will also include basic theory of 3D printing, the difference in materials, pros and cons of 3D printing, 2D and 3D images and designs, 3D drawing, modelling and AI applications. The course will improve students’ creativity and innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills, with 3D printing design and work as students’ outcome. The students’ work can also be exhibited in the school’s virtual gallery, if available.
