The Enriched IT Class student, Yeung Man Tsung, of Pui Ching Middle School won a Gold Medal in the informatics competition of International Olympiad of Metropolises (IOM) 2021 with a total score of 716.

About the Competition

The International Olympiad of Metropolises (IOM) is an international competition covering four disciplines including information technology, mathematics, physics and chemistry. Around 260 students from 33 cities participated in this year’s competition held from 6 to 13 December 2021. The informatics competition consists of two rounds. In each round, contestants are required to solve 4 programming problems in 5 hours and their ranking will be determined by the total score.
